Logitech was went webcam wacko today by unveiling four such peripherals which are aimed towards bringing 720p video calling to as many PC users as possible - the D Pro Webcam C910 ($99.99), HD Webcam C510 ($59.99), HD Webcam C310 ($49.99) and HD Webcam C270 ($39.99).

Logitech's upcoming webcams feature USB connectivity, enable 1-click Facebook and YouTube HD upload, include universal clips to fit a wide range of hardware, and make use of the new Vid HD software.

“HD video calling is a critical step toward our vision of a world in which video communication is as mainstream and seamless as a telephone call - for anyone, anywhere,” said Eric Kintz, vice president and general manager of Logitech's video business. “With Logitech HD webcams and Vid HD, you have everything you need to share, to connect, to see the people that matter to you in breathtaking detail that far surpasses the quality of embedded webcams.”

Google is testing a new feature in Gmail, in which a phone icon opens a special Gmail chat window consisting of a dialpad, contact search, credit balance and a call button. The feature is not yet publicly available.

A couple of weeks ago we asked whether Google () was building a Skype competitor after Google acquired VoIP company Global IP Solutions (GIPS). Google also acquired another VoIP-related company, Gizmo5, in late 2009 and integrated its team with Google’s own Google Voice team.

Now, it’s all coming together in Gmail (), which already offers voice chat to users. Google Voice () lets you do VoIP over the phone, but integrating that with Gmail’s voice chat feature means that you could call anyone directly from Gmail, finally solidifying Google’s VoIP offering as a true Skype () competitor.

Pushups don't have to be punishing, and they're an excellent indicator of your muscular strength.

Nobody loves a pushup, right? They're practically a hallmark of every basic-training Army scene—usually performed by a bunch of soldiers laboring under a brutal drill sergeant and in a torrential downpour. Pushups don't have to be quite so punishing, though, and they're an excellent indicator of your muscular strength.

Men and women will perform this test differently: Men will assume the full-body pushup position, with hands shoulder-width apart, back straight, toes on the ground. Women, meanwhile, will perform a "knees pushup"—identical to the men's in the upper body, but abbreviated below so that their knees are on the ground.

Once the basic set-up is mastered, simply perform as many pushups as possible in two minutes, keeping the back straight and lowering the body until the chin touches the ground. Don’t let the stomach touch, though. On the way up, be sure to completely straighten the arms—bending them so that only half a pushup is performed is not allowed.

Once the two minutes are up, you’ll want to record your score and see how you’ve done. It’s a bit complex, as age and gender affect the evaluation.
